ELE Classic Book Reading Club
ELE stands for e-learning, so the ELE Classic Book Reading Club is an online club focused on reading classic books. At our club, we strive to help children excel in their English reading and writing skills. We offer high-quality, low-cost online classes to elementary, middle school, and high school students. Our experienced teachers provide comprehensive instruction and individualized feedback to help students improve their language skills. Writing Skills Workshop
Writing Workshop: Level 1
In this workshop, students learn basic writing skills such as how to create an outline, how to write with details, how to use text evidence, etc. They also learn how to be coherent and concise in their writing.

Writing Workshop: Level 2
In this workshop, students practice fundamental skills in essay writing. They will practice one kind of essay writing each time, such as descriptive essay, narrative essay, persuasive essay, etc.

Writing Workshop: Level 3
In this workshop, students learn more advanced writing skills such as sentence variety, adding emphasis, using appropriate language, citing resources, plagiarism, which help them to be more competent in writing essays of good quality.

Writing Workshop: Level 4
In this workshop, students practice advanced writing styles, including book reports, community-engaged writing, application writing, AP writing, SAT writing, and even research posters. Students who take these classes will be more familiar with test writing and practical writing.

Ms. Elizabeth Mayher
hMy name is Elizabeth Mayher and I am very excited to explore the fascinating world of classic literature with your students! I have been teaching English and literature both abroad and in the US for 18 years to students of all ages and demographics. As a passionate educator, I believe firmly that education of the whole person is a lifelong process and in order to be a great teacher, one must always remain a student as well. I have a M.Ed in curriculum and instruction for K-12 learners (2011) and an M.Ed in reading and literacy (2021). I currently live and teach in Cleveland, OH and look forward to building meaningful relationships with all of you!

Mr. Mac
My name is Matt McConnell (students usually call me Mr. Mac!), and I am excited for the opportunity to work with your children. I have been working in education for the past seventeen years. I received my bachelor's degree in education from Western Michigan University and my master's as a reading specialist from Concordia University. My goal has always been to combine a love of reading with rich discussion and creative means of enjoying literature and writing. I look forward to working with your students!

Mr. Ryan Francis
My name is Ryan, and I am an English teacher with a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Central Florida. I have experience in teaching students at all levels of English fluency. I have five years of experience teaching English online to students in China, as well as three years of experience teaching English Language Learners at schools in the United States. I look forward to sharing the wonders of English literature with your child.

Ms. Ashley W.
I am from the USA, but my experience extends well beyond that. I am a Fulbright Scholar with a Master of Teaching degree, New York State Certification in teaching English as a Second Language, TEFL certification, and over 8 years of experience. I have taught in schools in the United States, Italy, Rwanda, Dominican Republic, and Brazil. I have also applied TEFL and ACLE pedagogy within countless lessons. I mainly work with students seeking advanced English, especially those enrolled in AP English Language.
Ms. Ashley W. is a specialized writing tutor for our students.
